Empowering young African-Australians to reach their fullest potential in all areas of their lives.
We are young Africans, advocating for young Africans.
Our mission is to break the cycle of disadvantage by equipping young Africans with the skills and confidence to create a bright future for themselves and their communities.
We partner with likeminded organisations to shape the future we want to see.
ASPYA Foundation is a registered charity with DGR1 status.
Cultural strength is at the heart of everything we do.
For too long, African-Australian people have been subject to racial vilification in the media.
We recognise that cultural identity plays a crucial role in personal and community growth. By embracing and celebrating African heritage, we empower young people to take pride in their roots, build resilience, and strengthen their sense of belonging.
Our programs honour and integrate cultural values to ensure that every young person feels seen, heard, and valued.
Driving success in education.
We help fill gaps in education to help young Africans thrive.
By collaborating with schools, universities, and community organisations, we provide African-Australian youth with the support they need to excel academically.
From tutoring and bespoke school programs to community-based skills development and after-school drop in sessions, our initiatives are designed to break down barriers and open doors to opportunity.
Elevating the voices of women and girls
By investing in women and girls, we are building a future where they can thrive and lead with strength.
We create safe spaces where young women and girls feel empowered, supported, and heard. Through our Girl Chat program, we facilitate meaningful conversations and events that inspire confidence and leadership.
Our Mental Health Capacity Building Program equips young women with the tools to strengthen mental health responses in their local communities while our women’s fitness program fosters physical health and community connection.

“We’re youth-led, and we’re African, so we can connect on a deeper level to provide long-lasting and relatable mentorship to help young people really make a difference in their lives.”
